About Dr. Smith: Award-Winning Neuroscientist Dr. Lindsey Smith is a UAB-trained expert in learning, memory, synaptic physiology, and hormones & behavior, with over 14 peer-reviewed publications. A passionate advocate for public neuroscience education and former President of the Association for Women in Science, she also serves as a New York Academy of Science Launchpad Mentor and a Scientific Consultant in Digital Pathology.
